Ripple Remote remotely controls your own computer. There is no account, no sign-in, and no conversation content stored on the operator's servers. Everything you send, and the content of the notifications your computer sends back, travels end-to-end encrypted between your phone and your computer; neither the relay in the middle nor the push service can read it. No ads, analytics, or tracking.
Pairing keys (kept in the phone's secure storage only); messages, photos, and files you send (encrypted in transit, kept afterwards only on your computer); push token, notification language and a notification encryption key (only if you enable push, kept on the phone and your computer); unsent queued messages (on the phone only, deleted once delivered); display/language settings and app version (on the phone only).
When you turn on notifications, the phone creates a notification key and hands it to your computer only inside the end-to-end encrypted channel. Your computer encrypts each notification's session name and work summary (the start of the last answer, the tool and request awaiting approval, or the failure reason) with that key (ChaCha20-Poly1305), and the phone decrypts it on arrival.
Unpair in Settings to immediately delete keys and queued messages on the phone (while connected, this also removes the push token and notification key from your computer). Uninstalling removes all on-device data. Conversation history lives only on your computer — delete it there, or ask us at the contact above.
Only when push is enabled: the Expo push service receives the push token, fixed status text, the session id and the encrypted notification content (which it cannot read), for delivery via Apple APNs / Google FCM. The relay is hosted on Cloudflare and sees only undecryptable bytes plus a room-auth hash. Nothing else is shared with third parties.
Delete on-device data via Unpair/uninstall; request deletion of computer-side tokens or records at support@ripplehouse.kr (Ripple House), handled without delay. Not directed at children under 14.
Changes are announced on this page with their effective date. 2026-10-17: notifications now carry the session name and a work summary, end-to-end encrypted; the host is called "computer" instead of "Mac".
An independent app, not affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI.
